Where the official records are

The CEO West Bengal SIR index lists the final roll published on 28 February 2026, later supplementary and deletion lists, and Appellate Tribunal lists. It also provides draft-roll, claims-and-objections, ASDD and historical-roll links. These are separate source categories; a final-publication label does not make later supplements irrelevant.

A dated snapshot: 28 February 2026

The CEO press note’s table reports these figures. They describe that publication stage, not the current October roll. Later supplements and tribunal outcomes are outside this snapshot.

Why we do not infer an appeal success rate

A restoration percentage requires the same cohort, date and unit in both numerator and denominator. Restored cases divided by decided cases measures outcomes among decisions already made. It does not measure outcomes for all appeals filed, all omitted entries or all electors.

Our current source-index review does not establish a reconciled statewide appeals denominator. No statewide restoration percentage is asserted here. A later analysis must identify pending cases, repeat entries and the link between a decision and its implementation in the roll.
